We can put in a gift card or a packing list without prices. Please let us know.

Are your toys safe?

None of the toys on the site have been recalled. Most toys sold in the U.S. are made overseas: and the manufacturers are responsible for quality control.

Is Giant Steps paid for its reviews?

No. We only sell books that we’ve read and like. We at Giant Steps don’t always agree on a book’s merit; and there may be times when customers disagree with us. No one book fits all. We look for a strong story and age-appropriateness. Sometimes the writing may be wonderful, but the story just is not appropriate for the intended audience – content is too difficult or too easy, writing is below or above grade level.

Sometimes publishers provide free galleys for us to read prior to publication. Otherwise, we read professional journals to find books that we want to consider for a review.
